Washington’s most acclaimed winery attains greater efficiency and reliability with RFgen for JD Edwards

Chateau Ste. Michelle, Washington’s most acclaimed winery, needed to eliminate manual recording and improve the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of its bottling production and Pick & Ship processes. To address this, the winery engaged RFgen Software and deployed RFgen for JD Edwards (inventory management, license plating, and traceability) to automate tracking and integrate with their Oracle JD Edwards ERP.

RFgen Software implemented a barcode Pallet ID system and customized its License Plating Suite—building pick lists, optimized picker routes, split-pick handling for partial pallets, and real-time transaction updates. The solution gave Chateau Ste. Michelle real-time warehouse visibility, increased shipping volume and productivity, end-to-end traceability to outbound staging, reduced seasonal staffing needs, and enabled higher production across four bottling lines using the same resources.
