National Home Products, a leading cabinetry manufacturer using Oracle JD Edwards, faced repeated outages and unreliable inventory after its MDLink-based data collection became unsupported. The company lacked real-time visibility into purchased parts and raw materials and relied on manual, paper-based cycle counts. To address this, National Home Products selected RFgen Software and its RFgen Mobile Foundations / JD Edwards Integration Suite for a modern, high-availability integration and mobile data-collection solution.

RFgen Software migrated the company from MDLink to its JD Edwards Integration Suite and deployed barcode-enabled mobile data capture for Inventory Control, Cycle Counting, Tool Management and PO Receiving. The implementation delivered real-time inbound and on-hand inventory, eliminated three to four handwritten steps, and produced measurable gains: accurate raw-material and cut-component counts, immediate visibility of purchased parts at the dock, and tool/yield reporting (saw yields of ~80%, 90% or 99%), improving floor efficiency and overall inventory reliability.
