Life Extension, a global vitamins and dietary supplements company, struggled with manual, paper-based warehouse processes that left staff hunting for inventory and unable to track lot numbers or enforce FIFO picking. To support growth and integrate with their JD Edwards ERP, Life Extension selected RFgen Software’s RFgen Mobile Foundations for JD Edwards to automate inventory management and lot control.

RFgen Software deployed real‑time mobile barcoding, lot-level traceability, on-demand label printing, and seamless JD Edwards integration, plus the RFgen Mobile Development Studio so Life Extension can modify apps in-house. The implementation gave Life Extension full item/location/lot visibility (moving from item‑level only), reduced errors on inbound orders, accelerated directed and bulk picking, and improved overall inventory accuracy and supply‑chain control.
