Gander Mountain, the U.S. outdoor retailer with 116 stores, was struggling as its product selection outgrew its legacy inventory system—store managers spent 20–30 minutes per batch downloading 3–6 SKU batches each day and often suffered crashes that lost data. To fix this, Gander Mountain selected RFgen Software and its mobile data collection / Inventory Control solution after demos showed superior real‑time capabilities.

RFgen Software’s solution was rolled out with Gander Mountain handling development, implementation and training; the mobile scanning system delivered immediate, reliable SKU data and simplified licensing and device rollout.
