Crocs, a global leader in casual footwear, needed to replace paper-based processes in its Mexico raw materials warehouse to improve inventory visibility and speed material flow to manufacturing. Crocs selected RFgen Software and implemented RFgen Mobile Foundations for Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as an Automated Data Collection (ADC) solution to address receiving, inventory transfers, cycle counts and materials planning.

RFgen Software delivered a fast implementation (under 12 weeks) using handheld barcode scanning, license plating and tight JD Edwards integration to enable paperless receiving, directed cycle counts and bulk transfers. The RFgen solution improved delivery time from the raw materials warehouse to manufacturing by 50%, reduced receiving from six to five days a week and from two shifts to one, and significantly increased receiving speed and inventory accuracy.
