Blue Bell Creameries, one of the largest U.S. ice cream manufacturers with four plants and 57 distribution centers, needed a replacement for its automated data collection after moving from Oracle E‑Business Suite 11i to Release 12 removed key shop‑floor functionality. The company required an easy‑to‑use, device‑agnostic mobile solution that could handle complex process‑manufacturing inventory transactions across cold storage, docks, warehouses and the shop floor while supporting strict food traceability.
