Thunderworks had moved from Excel to NetSuite but still lacked the inventory visibility and accuracy needed to scale—especially the ability to scan multiple barcode types and track lot numbers and expiration dates. After an initial WMS implementation failed to deliver, Thunderworks engaged RF-SMART to provide a Warehouse Management solution that could eliminate tribal knowledge and support their NetSuite environment.

RF-SMART deployed mobile scanning across receiving, putaway, picking, packing and cycle counting—using tools like Pick Manager and Pack Station, bin-directed picking, and multi‑UPC/lot tracking—to streamline workflows. The results speak for themselves: inventory accuracy is now greater than 98%, picking time for eaches is down 75% with Pick Manager, cycle counts moved from two days monthly to daily/weekly as time allows, and misships have decreased, all credited to RF-SMART.
