Select Harvests, one of Australia’s largest almond growers and processors, needed to integrate existing PLC-based automation with a new JD Edwards ERP without replacing shop‑floor machines. To solve this, they selected RF-SMART and implemented RF‑SMART Automation to capture PLC and weighbridge data and feed it directly into JDE.

RF-SMART was connected to the shop floor to deliver mobile transactions, work order completions, and Print Suite Bridge labeling, eliminating manual completions in JD Edwards and avoiding costly ERP customizations. The RF-SMART implementation processed 600,000 transactions this year and delivered measurable gains in operational efficiency, inventory and lot control, and smoother go‑live execution.
