Legend Valve & Fitting, Inc., a leading supplier of plumbing and hydronic system components, needed to improve speed, accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume warehouse without the complexity of a full WMS. Already using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Legend Valve turned to RF-SMART and selected RF-SMART’s WM Lite module to replace paper-based processes and add cartonization, replenishments and broken-case picking.

RF-SMART implemented WM Lite (including Advanced and Hot Replenishment) to enable cartonization, location-directed picking, real-time pick-pack-ship integration and automated replenishment workflows. As a result, Legend Valve increased warehouse efficiency by 40%, reduced labor cost per line by nearly 10%, ships nearly 80% of orders the same day, and saw less overtime and greater throughput.
