CentraCare, one of the largest healthcare systems in Minnesota with multiple hospitals, long-term care and clinic sites, needed to modernize an increasingly complex supply chain to enable accurate inventory control and consistent reporting across all locations. After replacing their legacy ERP with Oracle Cloud, CentraCare selected RF-SMART as their mobile materials management solution to supplement Oracle and meet healthcare-specific inventory needs.

RF-SMART deployed handheld-driven workflows for receiving, dock logging, multi-line receiving, picking, replenishment of PAR locations and delivery (providing end-to-end chain-of-custody tracking), plus support for a Kanban two-bin system. As a result, CentraCare achieved faster, more accurate picks via mandatory scanning, increased receiving throughput, lower inventory stocking levels, consistent functionality across all sites, and easier training and administration — outcomes driven by RF-SMART’s healthcare-focused design and configurability.
