Bewley’s Tea and Coffee, founded in 1840 and a leading coffee and tea company in Ireland, the UK and the US, needed to replace paper-based warehouse processes to reduce pick errors, shorten training time and improve order accuracy. To meet these goals they engaged RF-SMART, deploying RF-SMART’s mobile solution alongside Honeywell hardware (CK3 handhelds, PM43 label printers and 1602 pocket scanners) integrated with Oracle JD Edwards.

RF-SMART implemented handheld scanning, on-demand label printing and Oracle Validated Integration so transactions flow directly into JD Edwards; the intuitive RF-SMART workflows let new staff be productive within hours. The result was “picking errors way down — to little or none,” faster onboarding, improved stock rotation, better space utilization and overall higher warehouse efficiency, preserving Bewley’s customer satisfaction.
