Aeropostale, a leading specialty retailer in men’s and women’s fashion apparel, wanted to drive more in-store sales through its affiliate network while using a pay-for-performance model, leveraging existing publisher relationships, and better tracking the online-to-offline path to purchase. RevTrax worked with Aeropostale and the Pepperjam Network to support this online-to-offline promotions strategy.

RevTrax implemented its SmartOffer platform across Aeropostale offers so promotions could be measured, tested, and optimized, with dynamic barcoding for publisher attribution and automated feeds for affiliate payments. The program delivered strong results: 73% of clicked ads led to a printable coupon, 18% of printed coupons converted to a purchase, average transaction value was $15 per click, 25% of engagements came from mobile and tablet, and Aeropostale increased its affiliate program by 50% using only 10% of its publisher base.
