How Chem-Dry Used ReviewTrackers to Improve Local Search Rankings

Harris Research, which operates marketing and support services for the Chem‑Dry franchise network (447 locations across more than 42 countries), faced a gap in its reputation management offering: online reviews weren’t being tracked or managed. As a result their online program struggled to retain franchisees (only about 25% stayed) and missed opportunities to influence local search visibility and word‑of‑mouth, despite the brand’s large review base and consumer reliance on reviews.

In August 2014 Harris Research implemented ReviewTrackers as part of its Local Search Directory package, centralizing review collection, monitoring, responses, review‑request tools, alerts, and the ability to publish selected reviews on franchise landing pages. Since then they captured thousands of reviews, raised brand visibility and local search performance, increased premium package adoption and revenue, and significantly improved franchisee retention and operational insights (current reputation score 4.77).
