The Wisconsin Technology Council runs the Governor’s Business Plan Competition to connect seed- and early-stage entrepreneurs with mentors, judges and potential capital, but needed a reliable way to manage multi-stage submissions, mentor access, judge feedback and communications for a large field of entrants. For their most recent competition the Council enlisted Reviewr and used the Reviewr Premium platform to handle the contest’s complex workflows, including 250-word abstracts, 1,000-word summaries and full business plans across four categories.

Reviewr implemented a robust system providing submission management and approval, an online judging and evaluation component, custom reports, integrated email communications and post-event feedback access, backed by dedicated support. The platform enabled 292 applicants to be processed with 88 reviewers and more than 80 judges offering scored feedback directly through Reviewr, streamlining administration, improving responsiveness around deadlines and ensuring participants could access judge comments after the event.
