Pixelcut, an AI photo editing app, needed a better way to test paywalls and pricing strategies without tying up engineering resources. Their in-house A/B testing setup and analytics tools gave them initial conversion data, but not the down-funnel insights needed to understand long-term customer value.

Using RevenueCat’s Experiments and Targeting features, Pixelcut was able to run and analyze subscription tests directly from the dashboard and roll out the winning variant to new users. RevenueCat helped them discover that a weekly subscription drove 16% more paying customers than a monthly one, and the test paid for all of RevenueCat’s costs.
