Audm, a service that transforms long-form journalism into narrated audio, faced challenges with its existing in-house system for managing in-app purchase (IAP) subscriptions. The company had invested significant developer time into building its own machinery, but the solution was messy, prone to bugs, and difficult to maintain. This led them to seek a more robust solution from the vendor RevenueCat.

The solution implemented by RevenueCat involved replacing Audm's custom code with the RevenueCat SDK, which was integrated easily. RevenueCat also ingested all of Audm's historical IAP receipts to build a complete sales history. As a result, the implementation was smooth and successful, leading Audm to also integrate RevenueCat with Mixpanel and AppsFlyer.
