2020 Spaces, a provider of design software for interior professionals, needed to modernize licensing (replacing unpopular USB dongles), build recurring revenue through subscriptions, and simplify customer purchasing and onboarding. They partnered with Revenera and implemented the Revenera Software Monetization Platform (and integrated Cleverbridge eCommerce) to enable electronic licensing, subscription delivery, and more flexible product packaging.
Revenera’s solution delivered electronic software keys, subscription management, and feature-based packaging, eliminating USB dongles and simplifying products to three editions. The changes produced measurable impact: a 3X increase in customer growth rate, nearly 80% of new customers using electronic purchasing, doubled adoption of value-added additions, and ongoing usage insights to refine pricing and expand subscriptions.
