The REIT needed a way to model leases across major U.S. office properties, forecast expirations and renewals, and support revenue planning, while also meeting demanding regulatory reporting requirements. Revelwood used IBM Planning Analytics, along with Revelwood Lightspeed and the Steelwool Performance Toolkit, to support these needs.

Revelwood implemented an IBM Planning Analytics-based solution that imports lease data from an industry-standard lease management system and models lease and rental income up to nine years into the future by tenant, lease, building, and region. The solution gives executives and managers detailed visibility into capacity, renewal risk, regional growth, and renovation impacts, helping them make more strategic decisions about rents, lease terms, expansions, and capital expenditures. It also produces real-time, accurate reports for regulators and investors, improving compliance and reporting efficiency.
