Liquid Gold is a neighborhood bar and bottle shop in San Francisco’s Nob Hill, founded by Timothy Lee in 2014 and featuring 30+ rotating beers on tap. Lee’s biggest challenges were ongoing inventory tracking across many taps, managing multiple distributors and invoices, keeping menus up to date for changing offerings, and maintaining fast service during busy happy hours.

Lee implemented Revel’s iPad POS—using Inventory Management, digital menu boards, real-time reporting, split-bill and preauthorization features and the Manager app. Revel gave him realtime inventory visibility and supplier organization, instant menu updates, and ~14% faster transactions so the bar can handle peak days of up to 500 customers; reporting tools also highlighted top sellers and customer trends, and Lee plans a long-term relationship with Revel as he grows.
