Lappert’s Ice Cream from a Shoe Box to a Fully-Integrated Point of Sale

Lappert’s Ice Cream, a family-owned business, needed a better way to manage sales, employees, and growing operations after starting out with finances kept in a shoe box and later using a basic system. As Revel Systems’ first customer, Lappert’s adopted the Revel iPad Point of Sale to replace its older setup and support expansion across more locations.

Revel Systems implemented an integrated iPad POS and management console that streamlined register functions, payroll, timesheets, menu and price updates, and day-to-day reporting. The results were strong: Lappert’s reported sales increases of 12% in one store and 22% in another, faster employee training, and reliable 24/7 support, helping the company grow from 15 locations to about 200.
