Curry Up Now is a Bay Area fast-casual Indian concept that grew from a single food truck in 2009 into several trucks and six brick-and-mortar locations thanks to bold, hybrid dishes like tikka masala burritos and “sexy fries.” As volume climbed (about 3,000 guests a day) the founders faced tight food and payroll margins, inexperienced vendor partnerships, and the need for multi-location operational control and real-time visibility to keep service fast and costs down.

They implemented Revel’s POS with recipe-driven portion controls, real-time sales and labor dashboards, plus self-service kiosks and mobile order takers to speed throughput and empower customers. The system gave managers accurate, on-the-fly data to right-size staffing, reduce waste, and monitor food costs—supporting rapid scaling while improving speed of service and overall operational accountability.
