Beachbody’s Annual Coach Summit Success by Revel

Beachbody LLC, the Santa Monica–based creator of P90X®, Insanity® and Shakeology®, hosts an annual Coach Summit that drew nearly 10,000 attendees. For the three-day event the company needed a dedicated, robust mobile POS that could handle high-volume transactions and be quick and easy to train temporary staff and volunteers.

Beachbody deployed Revel’s iPad POS with Infinea Tab card readers and barcoding, enabling fast checkouts and simple training. The system processed 1,200 transactions (nearly $200,000) by the first morning, cut wait times by 67%, and allowed 60 temporary staff to be trained in one hour, helping make Coach Summit 2014 a smooth, successful event.
