Out of Home Attribution Study For Food Delivery Service

Major Food Delivery Service Company engaged an out of home subsidiary of a global advertising agency to drive app opens, installs, website visits, checkouts, and orders from OOH media in Chicago. Because out of home has been difficult to measure end-to-end, the agency turned to Reveal Mobile for its out of home attribution capabilities and location intelligence (using location data and precise geofences) to track consumer behavior after ad exposure.

Reveal Mobile built test and control cohorts from a 127,174-person sample, applied a 14-day conversion window, and measured net lift across goals. Exposed consumers were 27% more likely to take a desired action; key lifts included 21.39% app opens, 29.84% website visits, 7.29% app installs, 1.58% new user orders, 40.57% return user orders and 53.72% web conversions. Reveal Mobile’s attribution methodology also showed unique response lift (control 8.17% vs exposed 10.27%, lift 25.71%) and unique conversion lift (control 3.19% vs exposed 4.17%, lift 30.64%).
