A Reveal Mobile Case Study
Mobilads, a data-driven out-of-home advertising company that wraps rideshare vehicles and places interior headrest ads, faced a key measurement challenge: proving that moving, city-wide ads could drive real-world awareness and text-message sign-ups for a consumer brand’s mobile truck stores in Atlanta and Houston. To solve this, Mobilads partnered with Reveal Mobile to leverage privacy-compliant location data and moving geofences to track proximity exposure to their 200 wrapped rideshare vehicles and create geotargeted audiences.
Using Reveal Mobile’s location data, Mobilads matched audiences exposed within 30 meters of each moving vehicle, measured impressions and visitation, and pushed anonymized mobile IDs into the Google Display Network for retargeting. The campaign showed exposed users visited trucks at a 0.38% rate versus 0.14% for unexposed users (2.75x higher), saw retargeting CTRs of ~0.23–0.25% for exposed groups versus 0.07–0.10% for search-retargeted groups (about 2.5x better), averaged 10 days from exposure to visit, and led the brand to renew and expand into two additional markets—thanks to the insights powered by Reveal Mobile.
