A Full-Service Digital Advertising Agency in New York City was asked to educate voters about a complex statewide ballot initiative to fund water preservation via a sports-betting tax. The agency partnered with Reveal Mobile and used VISIT Local, Reveal Mobile’s location-based mobile audience product, to geofence stadiums and identify sporting-event goers for highly targeted outreach.

Reveal Mobile’s VISIT Local audience enabled the agency to build a custom retargeting pool from seven games and serve mobile ads, producing 236,415 impressions from Oct. 6–29 and 607 clicks (a 0.26% CTR from that audience; 0.5% CTR across the campaign). The targeting helped drive site traffic and contributed to the proposition passing with 51.42% (795,994 yes votes), a margin of 43,977 votes.
