Why Kerry Logistics uses Reval to net payments

Kerry Logistics, a Hong Kong–listed logistics firm with more than 100 subsidiaries across 40+ countries, was struggling to manage intercompany netting as it expanded through acquisitions. A five‑person treasury team relied on manual Excel processes and physical invoices to reconcile thousands of transactions each month, creating disputes, unreconciled payables/receivables and a time‑consuming two‑day close that forced the company to over‑park cash.

To solve this, Kerry implemented Reval’s cloud netting platform in late 2015, onboarding about 30 subsidiaries to automate invoice uploads, matching and monthly net payable/receivable calculations and to provide real‑time reporting. The change reduced manual reconciliation, lowered cash provisioning needs, freed staff for strategic analysis, improved visibility into bank accounts and set the company up to rationalize accounts and strengthen cash forecasting.
