Rogers Media, one of Canada’s largest B2B publishing brands, relied heavily on email to reach more than 400,000 subscribers and support revenue from newsletters and marketing campaigns. When it switched to a new ESP, the new IP address lacked sending reputation, causing delivery delays, spam placement, blocking, and a spike in bounces that hurt open rates and engagement. Rogers turned to Return Path for help with the migration and deliverability issues.

Return Path found the new IP was misconfigured and being flagged by spam filters, then helped Rogers properly configure and warm up the IPs and apply for Return Path Certification. As a result, Rogers restored deliverability, completed the ESP transition without harming performance, reactivated lost addresses, and returned its list to pre-migration levels. Return Path’s work helped Rogers maintain benchmark open rates, improve subscriber engagement, and reduce its bounce rate to below 1%.
