Return Path’s Professional Services used a Competitive Benchmark Analysis and inbox optimization tools to diagnose issues and recommend changes to subject lines, frequency, segmentation, welcome emails, preference settings, and more. The result was a major uplift: inbox placement improved so that an extra 1 in 6 emails reached the inbox, Gmail placement rose nearly fourfold, spam rates fell eightfold, read rates increased by more than 50 percent, and click rates grew by 31 percent.
