Markafoni, primarily an eCommerce company expanding into physical retail in Turkey, needed a way to translate its data-driven online approach into an in-store strategy. To support its pilot store in Istanbul, Markafoni looked for a solution that could provide customer and traffic insights beyond security, and chose RetailNext smart store analytics to better understand offline shoppers and store performance.
With RetailNext, Markafoni gained visibility into who was entering the store, where they moved, and when traffic peaked, enabling decisions based on data rather than gut feeling. The insights helped the retailer adjust staffing—for example, increasing coverage from four to eight people during high-traffic days and hours—and measure the business impact before scaling the approach to other stores.
