A century-old luxury brand selling through an international network of authorized dealers, jewelers and about 400 company-owned boutiques noticed an airport boutique with consistent foot traffic but recurring lulls in conversion at the same times and days each week. RetailNext installed entrance traffic sensors and integrated POS data, then correlated store performance with arriving and departing flight schedules, revealing the low-conversion windows coincided with flights to and from Brazil and a lack of Portuguese-speaking staff. After adjusting schedules to include Portuguese-speaking sales associates during those times, conversion during the previously weak periods rose to match the store’s typical performance.
