Worldwide Golf Shops, a multi-brand golf retailer operating 81 stores across 14 states under six banners, faced the challenge of keeping a personalized in-store experience while managing disparate POS systems after rapid acquisitions. To streamline IT and operations and preserve associate-led customer service, Worldwide Golf Shops standardized on Retail Pro International’s Retail Pro POS and retail management software (first used in their Santa Ana store in 1996).

Retail Pro International helped the retailer migrate all locations to a single platform in just six weeks and enabled centralized features like gift card management, a customer loyalty program (2% store credit on $250+ spend, delivered twice yearly), and integrations with partners such as Big Hairy Dog, SPS Commerce EDI and UniteU omnichannel. Those Retail Pro-driven automations — inventory imports, PO/ASN processing, unified inventory/customer data and online store-availability checks — reduced manual work, prevented double-counting of credits, and freed associates to focus on serving customers.
