Victorinox Trusts its Operations to Retail Pro

Victorinox, the Swiss maker of Swiss Army knives, watches and travel gear, needed a retail platform to support expansion from a single flagship store to a consistent global retail presence with centralized POS, pricing transparency, supply‑chain visibility and CRM. To meet these needs they selected Retail Pro International and deployed Retail Pro 8 (with partner Deway SRL), beginning their rollout in 2008.

Retail Pro International implemented a three‑tier architecture (company, country, store) with virtualized company and country servers hosted at Victorinox HQ, centralizing management while preserving store autonomy. The Retail Pro solution delivered consistent software and hardware for timely global support, improved pricing and inventory transparency, and scalable operations that provide operational visibility and the ability to grow Victorinox’s retail footprint.
