NRA Connects Pop-Up Store Data with Retail Pro Prism POS

The NRA deployed two pop-up stores at its 146th Annual Meeting in Atlanta (an event with over 81,000 attendees) and needed a mobile, versatile, and stable POS that could be set up quickly, run by a small staff and ~100 volunteers, and keep inventory accurate across a main store and a satellite location. They selected Retail Pro International’s Retail Pro Prism POS to meet those requirements and to support fast volunteer training and multi-location operations.

Retail Pro International implemented Retail Pro Prism POS centrally, tying all lanes into the main-store server (with support from business partner Retail Information Systems and the venue network), enabling live inventory, connected sales reporting, and automated promotional rules. The result was flawless multi-location performance, reduced transaction time with automatic discounts, the ability to handle higher volumes using fewer registers, and closely matching quantity-sold and quantity-on-hand reports — all while capturing sales to support NRA programs.
