Betts Group - Customer Case Study

Betts Group, a long-established Australian footwear retailer, struggled with fragmented retail systems, integration headaches and vendors who overpromised and underdelivered. To modernize omnichannel operations the Group chose Retail Directions, adopting its end-to-end platform components including RMS, WMS, SMS and the Web Shop module to replace piecemeal solutions.

Retail Directions implemented a fully integrated platform with RMS as the “single source of truth,” plus SMS/WMS integration and a Web Shop launched in a four‑month rollout (went live 24 May 2016). The result was a stable, low‑maintenance environment — Betts now runs its entire operation with just three IT staff, had its new online store live without issues and was already moving on to new projects within a week — demonstrating clear operational and time-to-market improvements thanks to Retail Directions.
