The Institute of Quarrying (IQ) is an international professional body that faced the challenge of growing its international membership and providing a centralized portal for its 6,000 members across 50 countries. To address this, they partnered with vendor Results Direct and its RD Mobile platform to create a new member app. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the challenge expanded to include providing a direct communication channel and critical mental health support to their existing members.
Results Direct implemented the IQ Connect mobile app, a year-round portal providing personalized content, real-time communications, and on-demand micro-learning. The integrated solution included CPD tracking and curated news. This implementation by Results Direct was a significant success, generating over 4,000 app downloads and helping the Institute achieve an 88% member renewal rate by making it easier for members to access content and manage their professional development.
