Repsol Sinopec Resources UK needed to strengthen emergency preparedness across its 12 UK Continental Shelf assets—including a Tier 1 oil terminal on Flotta—and required revised incident and crisis plans, coordinated government-interface procedures, trained emergency managers, and on-call operational support. Restrata completed a full revision of tactical incident and strategic crisis plans for all 12 assets, reviewed all levels of incident response (including the government interface) for the Flotta terminal with all recommendations accepted, designed and delivered bespoke tactical and corporate training, supplied an incident management team at the Aberdeen Global Operations Command Centre to support all UKCS operations, staffed a response call team, and helped set up and run an Evacuee Reception Centre with trained personnel. As a result, Repsol Sinopec Resources UK secured accepted plan improvements, centralized operational support across the UKCS, and significantly improved its incident-readiness and response capability.
