Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) - Customer Case Study
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) engaged Restrata to recreate a COVID Safe model for PSL 2021 after Restrata’s work on IPL 2020. PCB’s challenge was to maintain a bio-secure bubble across an international stadium, two training grounds, seven hotels and ten coaches while continuing to stage and broadcast live cricket.
Restrata implemented the Restrata Platform’s COVID Safe technology—creating user profiles for more than 602 people over a five-week tournament, installing locators, issuing FOBs, dividing venues into movement zones, and providing 24/7 capacity control, track-and-trace and contact‑tracing support. Restrata also supplied onsite consultancy and training (including BBID Steve Mort and designated BBIMs); the solution maintained the PCB’s bio-secure bubble throughout PSL 2021, bringing the tournament to a successful, safe conclusion and enabling live broadcasts to millions.
