Maersk Oil North Sea Ltd in Aberdeen engaged Restrata to develop and deliver a series of emergency response exercises to test and support the Maersk Emergency Management Team. The scenario simulated an offload tanker colliding with the FPSO Global Producer 3, causing injuries and an oil spill, creating a complex multi‑hazard challenge for the team.
Restrata provided crisis and continuity management consultancy and training, emergency response support and scenario-based exercises (supported by its Restrata Platform for personnel, asset and process management). The programme validated Maersk’s emergency procedures, identified improvement opportunities and strengthened the team’s preparedness and response capability for offshore incidents.
