Case Study: British Petroleum, Iraq achieves rapid site security with Restrata's electronic access control deployment

A Restrata Case Study

Preview of the British Petroleum, Iraq Case Study

Electronic Access Control Systems Installation BP Iraq

British Petroleum, Iraq engaged Restrata to install electronic access control systems at the Rumaila Camp in Southern Iraq. BP Iraq faced a tight timeline and the logistical challenges of delivering technical security infrastructure in a remote, high‑risk environment, requiring a vendor able to mobilise quickly and manage procurement, import and customs clearances.

Restrata carried out requirements assessment, site analysis, procurement and import logistics, then installed and commissioned electronic access control systems across the entire camp. By leveraging Restrata’s in‑country footprint, technical capability and supply chain, the project delivered site‑wide access control, enhanced physical security and operational continuity, with Restrata continuing to provide integrated security, IT, telecommunications and VSAT support.
