Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) hosts over 500 events, more than 1.4 million visitors and 6,000 exhibitions annually, so security is a top priority for its mixed-use expansion (retail, offices, Ibis Hotel and back-of-house). Restrata was engaged to carry out security risk and threat assessments, concept design and peer review services, acting as the client representative for engineering-submitted security designs.

Restrata deployed a dedicated team of public‑building security and crowd‑management specialists to deliver security audits, risk assessments, design feasibility reviews and a concept security master plan. The engagement was successful—Restrata was invited back to perform site‑wide Security Threat & Risk Assessments, Security Audits and technical feasibility studies across high‑risk areas—strengthening DWTC’s ability to protect millions of visitors and ensure the smooth running of its events.
