Borr Drilling, an international offshore drilling operator, needed to consolidate and improve inconsistent emergency response arrangements across regions (UK, Middle East, Africa) and for operations in Africa and Mexico, and required crisis management, media support and training for its international fleet. Restrata was engaged to deliver emergency response services and bespoke training to address these gaps.

Restrata rewrote Level 2 (country) and Level 3 (corporate) emergency documentation, provided crisis management and media support from its Aberdeen Global Operations Command Centre, designed blended procedures for Africa and Mexico, and delivered bespoke training, exercises, a dedicated response call team and family liaison training. The work gave Borr Drilling consistent, tested incident procedures, on‑demand crisis and media capabilities, and trained duty managers and liaison teams—strengthening preparedness and response capability across its international fleet.
