The Sevier County School System, a large district in Tennessee, faced the challenge of improving its emergency response procedures across its expansive 35-building campus. Response Technologies implemented its Centurion Elite emergency notification platform, which included PC Duress software and wireless duress buttons. This solution allows school officials to send pre-recorded emergency messages directly to on-duty police officers via two-way radios within seconds, drastically decreasing response time. The system was installed and tested seamlessly within a few months of the initial request, with all invested parties onboard and enthusiastic about the results.
