HeyGroop launches purpose-based messaging app with Resourcifi and 1.2M+ group conversations started

Resourcifi developed a group messaging app for HeyGroop to solve the challenge of scattered and noisy group communications across multiple platforms. HeyGroop needed a single application that could organize conversations into purpose-based groups, facilitate private one-tap voice and video calls, enable media sharing, and remove the need for passwords with a simple phone number setup, all while maintaining a clean experience on both iOS and Android.

The solution designed and built by Resourcifi consisted of native iOS and Android apps with a Node.js and AWS backend. The app features purpose-based "Groops," secure calling, media sharing, and passwordless authentication. This implementation resulted in over 1.2 million group conversations being started, demonstrating significant user adoption and engagement for HeyGroop.
