Creganna Medical, a global leader in minimally invasive medical device outsourcing, faced high energy costs in its PM3 Cleanroom 2 (a ~4,000 ft² controlled environment) and needed to reduce consumption during non‑production hours without affecting pressure, temperature or particulate levels. ResourceKraft was engaged, providing metering solutions while the project also included BMS control upgrades, setback‑mode testing and operational changes such as switching off a heat pump in summer.

Using ResourceKraft’s metering data and control measures, Creganna halved its non‑production baseline from 40 kWh to 20 kWh, achieved a 27% reduction in annual energy spend, and realized project savings of 135,983 kWh (€13,599). Setback mode testing will cut weekend 24‑hour consumption for additional cleanrooms from 2,880 kWh to 528 kWh, and ResourceKraft’s solutions have delivered clearer management control and understanding of energy use.
