Scott's Dental Supply, a national distributor in Gig Harbor, WA that stocks more than 16,000 products and processes roughly 200 orders per day, was mired in paper-based order and backorder workflows and an underutilized Microsoft Dynamics GP system. Paper files, separate backorder handling and lack of inventory allocation created bottlenecks as order volume grew, increasing overhead and slowing customer service. The Resource Group performed an operational review, upgraded Scott's Dental Supply to the latest Microsoft Dynamics GP with Perpetual Licensing (including Advanced Distribution and Advanced Order Allocation), implemented process improvements and integrated third-party tools.
