Case Study: Legislative Assembly of Ontario achieves streamlined incident reporting and actionable analytics with Resolver's Perspective

A Resolver Case Study

Software Innovation Meets Service Excellence

The Legislative Assembly of Ontario’s Legislative Security Service, which documents about 2,300 incidents a year, needed to replace its aging IRIMS incident-reporting system after Microsoft ended support for the SQL 2000 platform. Moving to a modern solution in 2007 required migrating ten years of data, configuring new workflows and security layers, and training roughly 80 users while maintaining uninterrupted incident management.

OntLA selected Resolver’s Perspective and used Resolver’s dedicated Implementation & Deployment Program for IRIMS clients; the project included onsite user training, administrator training, and technical data migration. The result was a smoother, more intuitive system with stronger analytics (including Visual Analysis), faster follow-up, better pattern detection and reporting to support operations and budgeting, plus ongoing customer-driven improvements and strong support from Resolver.
