Humber College Uses Resolver to Protect What Matters: Students, Staff and Faculty

Humber College, one of Canada’s leading postsecondary institutions serving roughly 100,000 students, needed to modernize campus safety after relying on pen-and-paper reports and inconsistent spreadsheets. That fragmented approach made it slow and difficult to find information, enforce naming conventions, and gain the organizational insight required to reduce risk and meet Humber’s goal of being the safest educational institution in Canada.

By rolling out Resolver’s Incident Management across 20+ staff and multiple departments, Humber standardized incident capture and reporting, cut paperwork, and enabled data-driven decisions. The Student Support and Intervention case lifecycle averaged 39 days in Fall 2018, the team used Resolver data to justify adding security resources at high-risk times, and improved reporting and prevention programs have increased support for students while aligning public safety with the college’s strategic goals.
