Oxfam America partners with Resilia to build grantee capacity and drive outcomes of several Mississippifocused projects

Oxfam America, a global nonprofit focused on ending poverty and expanding economic opportunity, needed a better way to support and measure the impact of several Mississippi-based workforce development initiatives. Rather than relying on a traditional evaluation-only approach, Oxfam wanted a solution that could build grantee capacity, capture outcomes without being burdensome, and support nonprofits more effectively. Oxfam America partnered with Resilia and used its Funder Platform to meet these needs.

Resilia’s Funder Platform helped Oxfam America’s grantees track both quantitative and qualitative outcomes in real time, including job readiness, money management, and employment retention. The results were strong: Refill Jackson Initiative placed 9 of 12 graduates into paid internships, New Way Mississippi’s strong performance led Oxfam to increase its award to $1 million, and Dependable Source Corp achieved 22 graduates with a 100% job placement rate and first-year salaries of $50,000–$70,000. Resilia enabled Oxfam America to see measurable impact and strengthen grantee success.
