A Rescue by LogMeIn Case Study
The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) provides IT support to law school applicants and administrators, but its previous remote support tool was slow, costly, and too cumbersome to use except in emergencies. To better serve people facing stressful admissions and testing deadlines, LSAC needed a support solution that was intuitive, affordable, and always available. Rescue by LogMeIn was the vendor evaluated to address this challenge.
LSAC implemented LogMeIn Rescue for fast, easy remote support with remote startup, reporting, file transfer, and other session tools. The results were substantial: average support sessions dropped from more than 40 minutes to under 10 minutes for candidates and about 20 minutes for administrators, software installation time fell from 4 hours to 20–30 minutes, and LSAC saved thousands of dollars per year. Rescue by LogMeIn also improved the experience for both users and technicians by making support faster and easier to initiate.
