ChargedEV, a UK supplier and installer of electric vehicle charge points, faced increasing demand for its installation assessment services. Their challenge was to add a simpler, low-cost method for customers to provide the necessary site information without requiring an in-person engineer visit. They turned to Rescue by LogMeIn and its Live Lens software to create a new solution.

Using Rescue's Live Lens, ChargedEV implemented home video surveys. This browser-based tool allowed project coordinators to guide customers through a video call to view premises and capture screenshots, all in about eight minutes. This solution delivered significant results for ChargedEV, including a 99% installation success rate for video survey customers and an overall improvement in their conversion rate from enquiry to installation by up to 15%.
